About This Spot

Stepping into Godmama’s Yard feels like slipping into a quiet, green sanctuary in the heart of Peristeri. The embrace of its garden-like courtyard softens the hum of the city, inviting you to slow down and linger. Here, time moves at a gentle pace, carried by the soft murmur of casual conversations and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

This café offers a relaxed neighborhood refuge where simplicity meets thoughtful touches. The outdoor seating area, framed by verdant plants and dappled sunlight, creates an atmosphere that is both comforting and unpretentious—a little patch of calm where familiar comforts meet subtle surprises.

The menu mirrors this balance with dishes that feel approachable yet carefully crafted. Brunch offerings such as creamy scrambled eggs combined with fresh bread or the rustic warmth of shakshuka complement the leafy ambiance. Even the sandwiches and sweet treats blend seamlessly into the experience, inviting you to savor the moment rather than rush through a meal. It’s a place where food supports the relaxed pace, where each bite agrees with the easygoing rhythm of the day.

What truly shapes the character of Godmama’s Yard is the human touch—the attentiveness of the staff and the nuanced way they accommodate guests, making you feel genuinely welcomed even on a busy day. While the menu may not surprise at every turn, the overall atmosphere—with its thoughtful decoration, the soft hum of good company, and the sense of belonging—makes this café a spot for those who appreciate a serene setting as much as a decent cup of coffee.

Whether you're here for a quiet morning escape, a casual brunch with friends, or a laid-back afternoon drink, Godmama’s Yard invites you to find your own moment of ease within its cozy green embrace.

A cute garden-like cafe with a very relaxing feeling. Coffee was good, french toast with mascarpone and red fruits even better. Would return gladly!

We didn’t get our preferred table due to other guests switching seats, but the staff was very kind and still accommodated us with a comfortable spot! Great brunch and outdoor décor —definitely not our last visit.

A nice cafe with a wonderful yard in Peristeri. The only downside was the brunch as the club sandwich didn’t meet my expectations. I would happily return here just for a coffee or some drinks as the yard is nicely decorated.

A beautiful place for a drink or coffee for sure! It has a great and unique variety of stuff on the menu. While we loved the place, we weren't 100% satisfied with the cocktails (we tried 4) - in every cocktail there was one ingredient that was too strong and you couldn't taste all the others at all - and I can't stress this enough :p (e.g. Marilyn Monroe cocktail is supposed to have salted caramel and popcorn. You could only taste some caramel, that's it, nothing salty. It was a good flavour but not that close to the one expected, some ingredients were completely missing from the taste). We will definitely visit it again but for a brunch the next time :) Edit: We went today for breakfast. Had a coffee along with "Guacamole open toast"and sweet pancakes (praline, Oreo, strawberries). Both dishes were absolutely perfect. Coffee was ok too.

Average food Excellent service Nice atmosphere Good value for money We got the tomato sauce eggs and the salmon scrambled eggs. Both were average missing taste and the scrambled eggs were very simple made only the avocado sauce was something special. I loved the decoration and the staff was doing a good job.

Amazing brunch and really good coffee! We had the avocado open toast which was like heaven and the scrambled eggs with salmon, which was very tasty and generously portioned. Very reasonably priced for the quality you get. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Covid measures seemed to be well adhered to. We will definitely come back.
